Abstract

This research is motivated by the success of parents in shaping the independence of early childhood in Jorong Nagari Gadang Akabiluru Subdistrict. The independence of early childhood is known from the results of interviews with parents and data from the Jorong Nagari Gadang school. Researchers suspect that the reason for the good independence of children in Jorong is because of guidance from parents. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were parents (mothers) who had early childhood totaling 26 people. The sampling technique used was a proportionate stratified random sampling of 21 people. The technique of collecting data uses a questionnaire. While the data collection tool uses a list of statements (questionnaires). The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results showed parental guidance in shaping the independence of early childhood through (1) Parental support in shaping children's independence is classified very well (2) Exemplary parents in shaping children's independence are classified very well, and (3) Communication of parents in forming the independence of children is classified as very good.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low self-esteem of children in Talang Sari Nagari Kindergarten Lunang II Kecamatan Lunang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This study aims to describe: (1) parenting parents, (2) children's self-confidence, (3) the relationship between parenting parents and self-confidence in children. This research includes correlational quantitative research. The population in this study was 25 parents of students at Talang Sari Kindergarten. The sample of this study was taken 80% of the population, namely 20 parents of students using the stratified random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data uses a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use Rank Order. The results showed that: (1) poor parenting parents, (2) children's self-confidence are still low, and (3) there is a significant parent's Talang Sari Kindergarten Nagari Lunang II Kecamatan Lunang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The suggestion that parents can apply proper parenting to their children so that they can increase children's self-confidence and can be used as reading material about parenting in shaping children's self-confidence.

Abstract

The research was based on the success of the sewing clothes’ skill program in PKBM Anarvani Air Tawar Barat, Padang city. The existence of the implementation in sewing clothes skill learning, it could help the participant in developing its skill, can be shown from the result that has been reached. The researcher expected the cause of the success of sewing clothes’ skill was from the learning process. The aim of this research is to show the learning motivation and the atmosphere of study. This research was descriptive quantitative. The population of the research is the entire participant who enrolled in sewing clothes’ program, 20 people as the sample. The technique used in getting the sample was the census method. The technique used in collecting data was using a questionnaire and the equipment to collect the data was using the question’s list. The result of the research is, 1. the motivation of learning that has done by the tutor to push the spirit of the participant is categorized best. 2. the atmosphere of learning study between the tutor and participant is categorized best made the implementation of learning could run well and evoked the comfortableness for the participant.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low entrepreneurial skills of embroidering skills training participants at PKBM Surya Padang. One of the reasons for this low entrepreneurial ability is low learning outcomes. This study aims to obtain information about the learning outcomes of embroidering skills training participants after participating in the process of embroidering skills training at PKBM Surya Padang. This research includes quantitative descriptive research. The population of this study was training participants who took embroidering skills training at PKBM Surya Padang in 2018, totaling 20 people, all populations were taken as samples. The sampling technique used in this study is the census method. Techniques for collecting data using documents. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of embroidering skills training participants are still relatively low.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the high motivation of the learning community in skills training to embroider the Koto Gadang scarf at PKBM Anarvani Padang. One of the causes of the high motivation of the learning community is the high success of learning residents who have opened their own businesses. The purpose of this research is to get information about the success of the learning community of skills training in embroidering the Koto Gadang shawl at PKBM Anarvani Padang. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population of this study is training learning residents who follow the skills of embroidering Koto Gadang scarves in PKBM Anarvani in 2018, totaling 10 people, all populations were appointed as respondents. The technique used is using census techniques. Data collection techniques spread questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the success of the learning population of the Koto Gadang scarf embroidery skills training is high.
